Article Processing Charge

OBLIGATORY PAYMENT

Editorial of the journal "Annals of the Russian academy of medical sciences" requires single Article Processing Charge (APC) per submitted manuscript to defray its editorial and production costs. Charge rate is fixed - 1500 USD (one thousand five hundreds).

Payment is processed after Step 7 — Confirming the Submission — of the manuscript submission process when the author downloads the paper. Without payment transaction the manuscript will be not sent to the editor for reviewing. Payment can be made by:

• Bank Wire Transfer. Transaction should be made to the bank details of "Paediatrician" Publishers, LLC (see. here). After making a transfer, you should scan the payment document and send it by e-mail: vramn@spr-journal.ru. In confirmation of successful sending the manuscript to the editor, you will receive an official notification from to your e-mail.

ATTENTION! Payment of the manuscript review process does not guarantee the publication of a manuscript in the academic journal "Annals of the Russian academy of medical sciences"! The fee is not refundable in the case of refusal to publish after reviewing or failure to review the paper for publication by objective reasons (failure to comply with the authors of author's copyright provisions; negative reviews; author(s) failure to meet a deadline for manuscript corrections; refusal to adopt/correct/update the manuscript in accordance with the requirements of the editorial board; violation of publication ethics guidelines).

Optional Open Access

OPTIONAL PAYMENT (this will NOT abrogate the Article Processing Change payment)

Through Optional Open Access, authors of accepted papers are given the option of paying an open access publication charge to make their paper freely available online immediately via the journal website, meaning that readers will not need a journal subscription to view open access content. If an author does not choose to pay the open access publication charge, their paper will be published in the normal manner, and will not be made freely available online immediately. Therefore there will be a mixture of non-open access and open access papers within each journal issue. Open access articles will be clearly indicated on the journal's online contents page. In order to view the non-open access content, a current subscription to the journal will be required. Online, print and combined subscription options will continue to be available to institutions.

We do not want the payment to become the challenge for good publication. If the authors do not have source of funds to pay for the article publication, the cost of publication may be reduced or canceled by the editorial board decision (the authors can send the formal request certified by their head on the company letterhead where the study has been performed). Persons who can receive the discount or cancelation of the payment for the publication are listed below:

• authors of studies performed only at the expense of the authors' personal funds (when even the employer was not and cannot sponsor the study and publication);
• members of editorial board (when authoring team consists predominantly of the board’s members);
• students, interns, residents and postgraduates (if they are the only author and in the absence of external funding for their work).

Issue Purchase

Readers without a subscription may still purchase individual issues. The following payment options and fees are available.

Access for an Issue: 25.00 (USD)

You can purchase the access for all articles published in one issue. Access to articles will be provide for an unlimited time.

Access to issue allows you to read, download and print full text (PDF and HTML) of all articles, but does not allow to distribute, copy or reproduce articles materials until the end of the embargo period (3 years) since the publication of the article).

You can purchase the access for the article to read, download and print its fulltext (PDF, HTML). Access to article will be provide for an unlimited time.
