According to efficiency of treatment patients were divided into two groups (group 1 (n =21) — very much improved and much improved; group 2 (n =9) — minimally improved). Adamantilbromphenylamine was administered to patients as a monotherapy 100 mg a day for 28 days. Examination was conducted before and after therapy. Severity of asthenic symptoms according to MFI-20 scale was identified; cellular and humoral immunity parameters, mitogen-induced production of interleukins (IL) 1β and IL 4 by immunocompetent cells of patients were assessed.</p><p><bold>Results:</bold> 30 patients with non-psychotic mental disorders with predominance of asthenic symptomatology in clinical picture of the disease were examined. Before therapy every proband had over 60 points across 5 items of MFI-20 scale. As compared with control decrease of number of lymphocytes of CD3+-, HLA-DR+, CD16+-phenotypes; increase in the ratio of CD4+/CD8+; concentration of serum IgМ; phagocytic activity of neutrophils were revealed. In the end of therapy in group 1, sum total of points of asthenia decreased up to 26 (23–37) (p &lt;0.001); in group 2 — up to 57 (47–61). Only in group 1 positive dynamic of immune parameters was revealed. It was shown that baseline level of proinflammatory cytokine IL 1β in group with apparent therapeutic effect of the drug was reliably lower, than in group with minimal improvement (p =0.005). These differences remained also after course of therapy (p =0.042).</p><p><bold>Conclusion:</bold> Interrelationship of clinical-immunological effect of adamantilbromphenylamine has been revealed; intensity of production of IL 1β may be considered as a criterion of prognosis of efficiency of treatment with adamantilbromphenylamine in patients with non-psychotic mental disorders</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p><bold>Цель исследования:</bold> оценить влияние антиастенического препарата адамантилбромфениламина на систему иммунитета и симптомы астении у пациентов с непсихотическими психическими расстройствами и опеределить возможные критерии прогноза эффективности лечения.</p><p><bold>Методы:</bold> проведено неконтролируемое исследование с прерванным временным рядом. По эффективности лечения пациенты были разделены на 2 группы (1-я группа, n =21 — с сильно выраженным и выраженным улучшением состояния; 2-я группа, n =9 — с незначительным улучшением). Адамантилбромфениламин назначали пациентам в виде монотерапии по 100 мг/сут в течение 28 сут. Обследование проводили до и после лечения. Выраженность астенической симптоматики определяли по шкале MFI-20; оценивали параметры клеточного и гуморального иммунитета, митогениндуцированную продукцию интерлейкинов (ИЛ) 1β и ИЛ 4 иммунокомпетентными клетками пациентов.</p><p><bold>Результаты:</bold> обследованы 30 пациентов (средний возраст 35,33±8,79 года) с непсихотическими психическими расстройствами, в клинической картине заболевания которых преобладала астеническая симптоматика. До начала лечения каждый обследуемый по 5 пунктам шкалы MFI-20 в сумме имел более 60 баллов. По отношению к контролю установлено уменьшение числа лимфоцитов CD3+-, HLA-DR+, CD16+-фенотипов; повышение соотношения CD4+ / CD8+, концентрации IgМ, фагоцитарной активности нейтрофилов. По окончании терапии в 1-й группе общая сумма баллов астении снизилась до 26 (23–37) (p &lt;0,001), во 2-й группе — до 57 (47–61). Только в 1-й группе установлена позитивная динамика параметров иммунитета. Показано, что исходное содержание провоспалительного цитокина ИЛ 1β в группе с выраженным терапевтическим эффектом препарата было значимо ниже, чем в группе с незначительным улучшением (р =0,005).
