They include sustained proliferative signaling, evasion from growth suppressors, resisting cell death, enabling replicative immortality, angiogenesis induction, and invasion and metastasis activation. Basis for the formation of these features is provided by tumor genome instability. Tumors are complex tissues that consist of different cell types interacting with each other as well as with normal cells. An important characteristic of tumor cells is the ability to interact with the tumor microenvironment and the formation of tumor stroma.</p>
</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>signaling pathways</kwd><kwd>genomic instability</kwd><kwd>proliferation</kwd><kwd>apoptosis</kwd><kwd>angiogenesis</kwd><kwd>invasion</kwd><kwd>metastasis</kwd><kwd>tumor microenvironment</kwd><kwd>tumor stroma</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>сигнальные пути</kwd><kwd>нестабильность генома</kwd><kwd>пролиферация</kwd><kwd>апоптоз</kwd><kwd>ангиогенез</kwd><kwd>инвазия</kwd><kwd>метастазирование</kwd><kwd>опухолевое микроокружение</kwd><kwd>опухолевая строма</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group/></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><mixed-citation>1.
