All nondiabetic patients were required to have HbA1c level 6.0%.</p> <p>Results. A higher frequency of detection of periodontal pathogens was established in patients of group C with a pronounced tendency to progression (93 and 100% respectively). The simultaneous presence of P. gingivalis and F. alocis in chronic periodontitis of grade B was noted in 20% of cases, and in grade C — in 93% of cases.</p> <p>Conclusions. The proposed method can be used to effectively determine the degree of periodontitis progression based on the determination of oligonucleotide primers of P. gingivalis and F. alocis, including comorbid pathology — periodontitis and type 2 diabetes mellitus.</p>
<trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>Обоснование. Предложенный метод может быть использован для эффективного определения степени прогрессирования пародонтита на основе определения олигонуклеотидных праймеров P. gingivalis и F. alocis, включая коморбиднную патологию — пародонтит и сахарный диабет 2 типа.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>periodontitis</kwd><kwd>type 2 diabetes mellitus</kwd><kwd>PCR</kwd><kwd>P. gingivalis</kwd><kwd>F. alocis</kwd><kwd>16S sequencing</kwd><kwd>bioinformatic analysis</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>пародонтит</kwd><kwd>сахарный диабет 2 типа</kwd><kwd>ПЦР</kwd><kwd>P. gingivalis</kwd><kwd>F. alocis</kwd><kwd>16S секвенирование</kwd><kwd>биоинформационный анализ</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group><award-group><funding-source><institution-wrap><institution xml:lang="ru">Правительство Российской Федерации</institution></institution-wrap><institution-wrap><institution xml:lang="en">Government of the Russian Federation</institution></institution-wrap></funding-source><award-id>056-00035-21-00</award-id></award-group></funding-group></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><mixed-citation>Tonetti MS, Jepsen S, Jin L, et al.
