In this review we classify the different types of the EDOF lenses based on their optical principle and discuss the recently specific calculation and indications for implantation of the extended depth-of-focus intraocular lenses.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>Целью данной статьи является анализ современного тренда в интраокулярной коррекции — имплантации линз с расширенной глубиной фокуса. В обзоре подробно разобраны вопросы определения EDOF (extended depth-of-focus) интраокулярных линз (ИОЛ), стандартных требований к ним, особенностей конструктивных решений, технологий и позиционирования ИОЛ производителями. Отдельно анализируется тема классификации ИОЛ с расширенной глубиной фокуса различными авторами и предлагается собственный вариант классификации.
